Matthew Boggiano
Senior Manager
Matthew is a Senior Manager in the Tax Department based in the Grand Rapids office. Matthew’s primary focus is tax planning, compliance, research, analysis and controversy resolution. He has been a practicing CPA with over 28 years of experience in a wide range of tax areas including individual, corporate, pass-through, state and local, international, mergers and acquisitions and accounting methods.
He has worked with clients in many industries including manufacturing, distribution, transportation, real estate and construction, automotive, restaurants and food services and professional services including health care, legal services, consulting and financial services.
Matthew received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and his Master’s of Science in Taxation from Grand Valley State University. Matthew is a certified public accountant in the State of Michigan.
Matthew is also a member of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team at Hungerford and provides regular educational presentations within and outside of the firm on a wide range of topics.
